Moeen Ali: Runs in both competitions so far, having been under pressure to deliver after Hick’s retirement
Ian Bell: Two centuries, but not enough to regain his England place.
James Hildreth: Triple century against Warwickshire
Jim Troughton: A double century against Hampshire at Edgbaston
Jamie Dalrymple: Runs in both competitions for Glamorgan, and wickets in the FP Trophy
Craig Kieswetter: Runs for Somerset including two centuries
Tim Bresnan: Seven wickets in two FP Trophy matches, average 9, England test call up
Graham Onions: Leading championship wicket taker, destroyed Somerset at Taunton, called up for England
Jimmy Anderson: Eleven wickets against Sussex at Hove as Lancashire made a winning start
Maurice Chambers: 4-62 against West Indies, 7 championship wickets for Essex
