England v Pakistan: Pakistan Innings
Well, that was all rather odd. Was it me or did it seem as if Pakistan weren’t particularly up for the chase after the 3rd wicket went down, Younis Khan aside?
England did bowl pretty well, and Rashid was impressive, but it’s hard to judge at this point. You can still hear their players telling the media that T20 is a lottery (Luke Wright on TMS tonight), whereas the IPL has proven that it is anything but.
So after all the panic, England are through to the Super 8, and it is Pakistan who must sweat. How competitive England will be against the best teams remains to be seen.
