Lahore attack upon Sri Lanka team

I have been pondering over the last 24 hours what to write regarding the terrorist attack upon the Sri Lankan team in Lahore.  Ultimately, Cricket is of secondary importance compared to the lives that have been lost and the trauma suffered by those involved.

Clearly there will be ramifications for cricket, Pakistani cricket in particular, and possibly the upcoming IPL, but I can’t help but feel that now is not the time to be delving into what should or should not be done.

So I shall simply say that our thoughts should be with those affected by this outrage, and leave it at that.
