Thank you, ECB

Contrary to popular opinion, GCW does not have the ear of the bigwigs at the ECB.  Or at least, we didn’t think that was the case.  Now we are starting to wonder.

Just yesterday, we sent out a plea to our administrators to put an end to the horror story that the P20 was fast becoming.

Today, the ECB listened, thought about it, nodded their heads and bowed to our demand.  On the same day, the Americans have announced that they will be doing an official T20 tournament.  Doubtless they’ll be raking in the money in 12 months time while the ECB continue to scratch their heads.

With that in mind, here are a few of our other pre-emptive questions and suggestions they might want to consider:

  1. Let’s just stick to the 3 tournaments now, shall we?
  2. Could the counties be convinced that the national team is more important?  You know it makes sense.
  3. Quality > Quantity
  4. Kevin Pietersen.  True or false?
  5. The West Indies contract dispute is not a model for progress.
