The Ashes: England squad for the 3rd Test
Once KP was ruled out, we all knew what the squad was going to be. There was almost no point in announcing it.
Many people still say that Harmison should play, on the basis that England need 20 wickets.
They have already forgotten that England took 20 wickets at Lord’s without Harmison.
The final eleven will be unchanged except for Pietersen. Ian Bell will bat at number 4.
Nothing more needs to be said on the subject, which is why you’ll be able to read about it again and again in the press all this coming week.
