The cricket bat: a weapon of mass destruction?

This might be the feeling of the Surrey bowlers this evening after Philip Hughes marmalised them all over south London.  A club cricketer from Lancashire has found himself at the mercy of customs, who decided that his order of new cricket bats might pose a terrorist threat.  So they proceeded to drill holes in them.  All of them.

Clearly nothing is sacred.
