When Blinkered Ashes Reporting attacks!

Blinkered Ashes Reporting season is well underway.  Patrick Kidd, of The Times’ Line and Length blog, thinks England’s inevitable defeat will be all due to the practice the Aussies have had in England over the years.  Here’s my alternative take:

  • Mitchell Johnson: No 1st class experience in English conditions.
  • Peter Siddle: No 1st class experience in English conditions.
  • Nathan Hauritz: No 1st class experience in English conditions.
  • Ben Hilfenhaus: No 1st class experience in English conditions.
  • Andrew McDonald: No 1st class experience in English conditions.
  • Brad Haddin: One 1st class match in English conditions.
  • Brett Lee: 29 wickets @ 45 in tests in England.
  • Don Bradman: Not available for selection.

Oh, and:

  • England XI: A careers worth of experience in English conditions.
