Not so Fantastic Mr. Fox

The news that Sussex have taken drastic measures to deal with an invading fox has met with dismay amongst animal lovers everywhere.  Having seen the fox digging around on the outfield, Sussex chiefs decided to hire a marksman to take out the unfortunate creature.

Presumably they have took this action to avoid accusations that the fox was employed as a groundsman to cunningly target the area on a good length for Monty Panesar.

Reaction from the local residents of Hove Actually was strong, with commenters on the Brighton Argus website condemning the club for their cruelty.  Many local residents also reported the sound of gunshots to police, and three spilt their tea in surprise.
