Was Harold Larwood the fastest bowler that cricket has seen? Perhaps it is better if the uncertainty remains, and the legend is undiminished. Whatever, Harold Larwood was seriously fast, and far more so than any other bowler of his era.

Ask Bearders

For anyone who enjoyed listening to TMS over the last 40+ years, Bill Frindall was an integral part of the experience. His death earlier this year was mourned by the legion of fans who were familiar with cricket’s most famous scorer. Now there is a new book being released called Ask Bearders, a selection of entries from the online column of the same name.
