Hopefully the women can use the World Cup win as a springboard to continued success, which will be the real way to build a bigger profile. Rather that than a flash in the pan.

England women show the way

Congratulations to England’s women, who beat New Zealand to take the Women’s World Cup in Sydney yesterday. Player of the Match was Nicki Shaw, who had been uncertain of her place in the team before injury granted her the chance to shine in the final.
